What tattoo do you want and where would you put it?
I am currently considering getting a tattoo. Some friends are encouraging & even my kids but hubby & parents aren’t keen.
When I was a toddler I fell in hot water and have a resulting round scar on my upper arm. I think that a tattoo would cover this scar well. But I can’t find a round tattoo that resonates with me. My son has a round circle tattoo – it has some meaning to him which I can’t now remember. Given the banter among our family & my son’s friends it is now more commonly called the coffee stain as it looks like the ring left from a spilt coffee mug. Northern Irish humour!!
A friend has just got a couple of small tattoos with an amazing local tattoo artist.

But the butterfly 🦋 would definitely feature – symbolising change, renewal and flight after all hopes of even walking well had been turned into chrysalis soup.
I’d love something too that represents my faith and how much it means to me but I have not yet seen a faith tattoo that really feels like me. Maybe something like a dove over water kind of merging into a flame? But then if it’s too obscure …
