Do you ever see wild animals?
What is a wild animal??
Is it an animal that’s not tame? If yes, then there is a beautiful robin that lives in my garden that I see almost daily. He’s not tame – I wish he was because then I would get a better photo of him!

I live in a gorgeous village called Royal Hillsborough. There is a forest & a lake open to the public and I love to walk there with my dogs. My dogs are shihtzus and their eye-sight isn’t the best. But it’s funny to see squirrels in the forest scampering away up the trees before my dogs have even noticed them. Are squirrels wild animals?
We stayed up on the beautiful north coast of Ireland a few years ago. From the huge windows in the lounge we saw dolphins leaping and playing in the water just near Ballintoy harbour. I think this probably fits most people’s idea of a ‘wild’ animal.
The saddest wild animals I have seen though have lived in zoos. When my children were growing up they loved to see animals and we regularly would have visited our local zoo and any zoos/aquariums that were at our holiday destination. But now I feel more sorry for the animals kept in cages for our entertainment. Whilst they may fit the idea of ‘wild’ it’s sad that they are not free.
